Extra coverage
Added visits, multi-visit days, and vacation support when route fit, timing, and dog fit all line up.
Services
Bark & Blaze offers two recurring in-home dog visit types in Herndon, Reston, Ashburn, and Sterling: after-hours coverage for early mornings and late returns, and daytime coverage for standard work hours. New clients start with a free setup visit before paid service begins.
01 · Recurring visit types
The difference is mainly timing: after-hours coverage for early starts and late returns, or daytime coverage for standard work hours. Both include the same attention to access, safety, home reset, and written updates.
Best for households that leave early, get home late, or need recurring care outside standard dog-walker hours.

03 · Active recurring clients
Once a household is established in recurring care, Bark & Blaze can sometimes help with extra coverage, schedule changes, or longer-format support when route fit, timing, and dog fit all line up.
These are not stand-alone public services and they are not the right starting point for new households. They are worked out directly with established recurring clients.

How new clients start
Step 1
Every new household starts with a short in-home setup visit before the first paid Bark & Blaze visit.
Step 2
Access, routine, preferred windows, feeding, meds, and emergency details are reviewed in person before recurring care begins.
Step 3
Once the setup visit is complete and the fit is confirmed, recurring after-hours or daytime visits can begin.
